Your journey, your way
Pathways is the Toastmasters education program — a structured way to develop real-world communication and leadership skills through hands-on practice at club meetings. Every speech you give, every role you fill, and every evaluation you deliver builds toward a recognized credential.
You choose your path. Select from 6 specialized paths based on your personal and professional goals - then progress through five levels at whatever pace works for you.

GETTING STARTED
How to begin your Pathways journey

Join KVTM
Become a member of Kennebec Valley Toastmasters and get access to Toastmasters International website and Base Camp learning portal.

Choose your path
Take the Pathways assessment on Base Camp - it asks about your goals and interests, and suggests paths that fit you best.

Complete your Ice Breaker
Your first speech - 4 to 6 minutes about yourself. It's the first step of Level 1 and a KVTM tradition to celebrate warmly!

Progress at your pace
Complete projects, give speeches, take on club roles, and work through the five levels on your own timeframe. Your mentor and fellow members are with you every step!
5
Celebrate every milestone
Each level completion is recognized at a club meeting. Check out the Wall of Fame to see just how far KVTM members have gone!
