A BIT ABOUT US

Kennebec Valley Toastmasters chartered in March 1977. Since then it has been a staple in Augusta, welcoming guests to every meeting.  We have evolved from meeting exclusively in person, to a hybrid club offering in-person and online attendance.

Whether you’re speaking to the board of directors, your customers, your co-workers, or your kids, Toastmasters can help you do it better.  You’ll learn and practice in a friendly, comfortable environment with people who are there for the same reason you are—to become better communicators.

At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to small groups and working with others in a supportive environment.

​

Each Toastmasters meeting has opportunities to present prepared speeches, give impromptu speeches, offer constructive evaluation, and even conduct the meeting; AND you always go at your own pace.

Kennebec Valley Toastmasters meets in Augusta the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

40th Year Celebration, May 2017

There is still a glow lingering from our wonderful 40th celebration. The experience and commitment of our membership was commented on by our guests. The speeches, Table Topics and club memories were heartfelt and perfect for the occasion.

What a pleasure to have a front row seat and watch everyone put words to the value in this thing we do. KVTM has a proud legacy and last night you all added to its luster.

Special thanks to our event chairs, Vicki and Bonnie. Last night was a reminder of what a special thing it is to be part of Kennebec Valley Toastmasters.
