Kennebec Valley Toastmasters has been a vital part of the Augusta community since March 1977. We're a welcoming space for anyone looking to enhance their communication and leadership skills - whether you're a student, a retiree, or anywhere in between.
As a proud member of the community, we're woven into the fabric of this wonderful community. As the times have changed, so have we - evolving from traditional in-person only meetings, to flexible formats so more people can participate.

FOUNDED
Kennebec Valley Toastmasters #1468 is chartered in Augusta Maine - one of the longest-running clubs in District 45.
1977
A LEGACY BEGINS
Grace Durgin joins KVTM - she would go on to become the club's first DTM, hold every officer role, and inspire a perpetual award in her honor.
2017
40TH ANNIVERSARY
KVTM celebrates 40 years of community, growth, and great speeches.
